Before you book

Questions
we get asked.

If yours isn’t here, ask at the desk or send us a note. We answer everything before your first class.

What is Lagree?

A slow, continuous, low-impact method performed on the Megaformer. The spring tension never fully releases, so the muscle stays loaded from the first count to the last. It borrows from Pilates but it is not Pilates — expect to shake.

I've never taken a class. Will I be lost?

No. Every class scales, and your instructor will set you up on the machine and tell you what to change as you go. Most people book the intro offer first, but you're welcome in any class on the schedule.

What should I bring?

Grip socks are required — we sell them at the desk if you forget. Bring water and wear something you can move in that isn't loose enough to catch on the carriage. We have cubbies for everything else.

How early should I arrive?

Fifteen minutes before your first class so we can walk you through the machine. After that, ten minutes is plenty.

Do I need a membership to book?

No. You can buy a single class or a pack of credits and book with those. Memberships cost less per class if you're coming twice a week or more.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel through your account or the app and your credit goes back to you. Cancel inside the late window and the credit is spent — the machine was held for you and the class is capped. TODO: confirm the exact window.

Is it safe if I'm pregnant or working around an injury?

Often, yes — the method is low impact and everything can be modified. Check with your doctor first, then tell your instructor before class so they can plan around it.

Where do I park?

TODO — confirm with the front desk and describe the lot, plus anything worth knowing about the busy evening slots.
